It's important to keep up with the changes that occur to the major social platforms. I am sure your branding / marketing doesn't need to look broken or looks like any image has just been slapped up there. Social media image dimensions do the job.

Your carefully crafted social media banner now looks meh; fix them using this updated guide.

Don't get me wrong, the updates are usually GREAT they help keep social media fresh & alive. For example, image dimensions for Twitter changed significantly with the new redesign: (Looks more like Facebook, doesn't it?!) And sizing cover & profile images for the new Twitter layout can be tough without a reference guide.
